Harriet Tubman was the daughter of two African slaves. She was born into slavery in Maryland and was tending fields by the age of seven. Tubman had a spiritual awakening which gave her the vision of starting the Underground Railroad, a secret trail for escaped slaves. Tubman rescued over 300 slaves and brought them into freedom. She was buried in 1913 with military honors. Head comes off to reveal a secret treasure box.
