Abundance Crystals
Description: A formation of clear quartz with many tiny crystals growing at the base.
Use: Bestows love, abundance, protection, creativity, success, good fortune, blessings and growth. Encourages our dreams and wishes to thrive.
Agate
Description: A chalcedony belonging to the quartz clan, agate is created from layers of thin parallel bands of brightly-colored silica.
Use: Agate was prized by ancient Egyptians and Sumerians, used for jewelry and ornamentation. It is thought to foster love, prosperity, wealth, good luck, longevity, acceptance, courage, protection, balance, harmony, generosity, strength, security and appreciation of nature. Very calming and soothing to the emotion, it is considered a general healer.
Alexandrite
Description: Alexandrite was first discovered in 1830 in Russia, on the 21st birthday of Czar Alexander II. It appears green in daylight but red under incandescent light.
Use: Often considered one of the most valuable gemstones, it is associated with regeneration, renewal, rebirth, protection, joy, emotional well being, refinement, purity, grace and elegance.
Amazonite
Description: A green member of the feldspar clan, this stone often resembles the ocean surf or waves of seafoam.
Use: Promotes truth, sincerity, honor, self-esteem, communication, eloquence, clairvoyance, clarity, prophecy, psychic vision, and divination.
Amber
Description: Amber is the fossilized resin or sap from the pine tree Pinus Succinifera, formed during the Eocene period about 50 million years ago. The color ranges among hundreds of shades, including golden, green, cherry, white, yellow, brown, and honey.
Use: Amber has been prized by ancient cultures for centuries, and is a sacred "stone" to the Native Americans. It is used in the art of manifesting desires into reality. Amber cleanses the environment in which it rests; when worn it brings purification to one's mind, body, and spirit, activates unconditional love in mankind, stimulates the intellect, and opens the crown Chakra. Description: A translucent greenish stone, it looks very much like aquamarine.

Aquamarine
Description: A blue-green member of the beryl clan.
Use: Associated with cleansing, mediation, prophecy, serenity, inspiration, tranquility, peace, strength, and the wise use of inner power. Calms fears, helps us get in touch with the nature spirits of the sea, and promotes safe travel on water.
Artemis Crystal
Description: Also called a Candle Crystal. A long, thin clear quartz with a sharp, undamaged point.
Use: Promotes independence and freedom. Protector of women, children and nature. Helps focus and speed our prayers and visualizations to their goal.
Aventurine
Description: A green quartz.
Use: Enhances prosperity, career success, calmness, creativity, imagination, self-reliance and balance. Is thought of as especially healing.
Azurite
Description: A blue metallic mineral.
Use: Encourages cleansing, kindness, patience, prophecy, truth, psychic dreams and intuition.
Bloodstone
Description: Also known as heliotrope, bloodstone is a red-flecked dark green chalcedony that appears blood red when ground into powder. Member of the quartz clan.
Use: Brings abundance, rain, alignment, generosity, smooth energy flow, idealism, good fortune, organizational abilities and purification.
Blue Lace Agate
Description: A light blue form of agate whose translucent banded patterning resembles white and mauve-blue lace.
Use: Helps one to gently open and expand their consciousness. Excellent for those who are introverted; brings one out of themselves and into greater harmony with others and their environment. Enhances creativity and a more fluid, confident expression of oneself. Calming to the mind, soothing to the emotions. Excellent for helping cool down hot tempers and relieving stress. Calcite
Description: A carbonate mineral that comes in many colors.

Celestite
Description: A light blue, white, yellow, orange, red or red-brown strontrium compound in the form of nodules, crystals, and granular masses to name a few.
Use: Brings awareness, enlightenment, spiritual development, empathy, prayer, innocence, truth, pureness of heart and contact with our guardian angel.
Use: Charoite is a translator or transmitter of "violet ray" energy. It accelerates transformation and purification on all levels of consciousness, helping one to break through attitudinal rigidity, fears, and inhibitions into a greater openness and acceptance of life and self. It lightens up and assists in the healing of the heart. Encourages self-esteem while enhancing intuition, meditation, and relaxation. Description: A type of blue-green quartz.

Use: Chrysoprase augments communication, balance, stability, adaptability, choices, higher consciousness, youthful zest, and happiness.
Citrine
Description: A golden-yellow quartz, also one of November's birthstones along with topaz.
Use: Citrine fosters prosperity, creativity, generosity, pleasure, protection, strength, alignment, confidence, healing stability, moderation, comfort, career success, truth and warmth. It aids in digestion, assimilation, a general enjoyment of life and spiritual growth.
Copper
Description: Likely discovered about 8,000 years ago, native copper, a salmon-pink metal harder than gold, was used for tools, weapons, and ornamentation.
Use: Copper enhances channeling, luck, abundance, purification, self-esteem, communication and energy. It is often used as the shaft of crystal wands, because it facilitates energy flow.
Coral
Description: Hailing from the sea, coral is the vacated housing of marine life. It can come in a variety of colors among black, pink, red, white, and blue.
Use: Coral brings stability, fluidity, and balance to the emotions. It assists one in being more positive in their emotional outlook and expression, and increases one's sensitivity to themselves, others and life. Coral promotes fertility, strength, and longevity. It is soothing to the nervous system, and aids the transmission of nerve impulses. It benefits the heart, circulatory system, bones and spine, brain, and bloodstream.

Crystals (Clear Quartz)
Description: Also known as quartz or rock crystals. The crystals form in hexagonal prisms, and are often horizontally striated and end in pyramidal shapes.
Use: Crystal formations facilitate wisdom, clarity of thought, general healing, memory communication, transformation, awakening, cleansing, pureness of heart, higher consciousness, positive thoughts, mediation, harmony and love. They also amplify prayers, wishes and visualizations.
Crystal Clusters (Clear Quartz)
Description: Quartz crystals recognized to be in the formation of a cluster.
Use: Encourages protection, harmony, union, friendship, intimacy, participation, cooperation and purification
especially among groups and familial units. The energy generated is directly proportional to the number of crystals in the cluster. It also breaks up negative energy in the environment.
Diamond
Description: Diamond is the hardest natural substance, and one of the most highly valued gemstones. Diamonds are simply crystallized carbon, and while usually clear, they rarely come in "fancy colors," the most sought-after of which is blood red. Diamonds are used for industrial purposes such as drills and saw blades. It forms under intense pressure, and is usually brought to the surface by volcanic eruptions. A "diamond in the rough" is nothing special to look at, but a properly-cut diamond is spectacular.
Use: The most commonly used gem for engagment rings and anniversary jewelry, diamonds bond relationships and promote longevity, love, innocence, clarity, profundity, abundance, courage, purity and hope. They help us get to the essence of things.
Dioptase
Description: Dioptase crystallizes in the form of emerald-green masses, and is fairly rare.
Use: Considered one of the best healing stones, dioptase relieves mental stress, fosters prosperity, mediation, love and emotional expressiveness.
Double Terminated Crystals (Clear Quartz)
Description: Double terminated crystals are naturally faceted at both ends.
Use: Double-terminated crystals augment psychic ability and dream recall, and are balancing to the mind, body and spirit. They allow easier access to meditative states, the spirit world, and to our own inner spirit.
Drusy
Description: Also known as druse, druzy, druzie, etc. Drusy refers to a "habit" or formation of quartz and other minerals. It appears as an aggregate of minute sparkling crystals covering the surface of a stone, often on the inside, like a geode. Drusy jewelry is sometimes partially polished, but always leaves a portion of the formation to show its natural beauty. Some pieces are heat-treated to give them iridescent sheens.
Emerald
Description: A green member of the beryl clan, colored by the presence of chromium. The largest emerald yet found was 7,025 carats and discovered in Columbia in 1961. Cleopatra is said to have posessed an emerald engraved with her portrait.
Use: Facilitates love, romance, joy, clairvoyance, clear vision, memory, faith, cleansing, intuition, serenity, intelligence, truth and communication.
Use: Flourite is associated with intellect, consciousness, aura cleansing, truth and protection. Blue Fluorite calms emotions. Purple increases spiritual balance and mystic visions. Yellow nurtures wisdom and intelligence, while white builds purity of spirit. All fluorite offers psychic protection and healing.
Garnet
Description: A silicate mineral, garnet is most popularly a deep red color. They can range through colorless, yellow-green, rose, orange, and brown/black. The most valuable variety are emerald-green. The name "garnet" most probably derives from the Latin granatum malum, meaning pomegranate. The seeds within pomegranates resemble red garnets.
Use: Red Garnet fosters romantic love, passion, sensuality, sexuality, intimacy, positive thoughts, inspiration, energy, confidence and social success. Green Garnet augments peace, serenity, meditation, creativity, healing, purification, and patience.
Hematite
Description: The name "hematite" is derived from the Greek haima, meaning "blood," for its cherry-red streak pattern. Hematite can range from dull brown to bright red, but most popularly is lustrous black.
Use: Hematite encourages willpower, reliability, concentration, courage, optimism, trust, and balance. Traditionally it is thought to have a beneficial effect on legal situations.
Herkimer Diamond
Description: Discovered in Herkimer County, New York, Herkimer diamonds are unique quartz that grow in the form of short, stout, double-terminated clear or included prysmatic crystals.
Use: Promotes originality, individuality, dream recall, imagination, psychic powers, amplification of energy and creativity.
Howlite
Description: A white, marble-looking stone.
Use: A simple and gentle mineral, howlite aids and deepens sleep and helps one to access and bring back wisdom from the dream state. It calms and sooths the emotions; reducing anxiety, stress, and tension. It also assists in loosening/dispersing muscular tension - excellent for bones and pregnant or nursing mothers (because of strong calcium content/vibration). It enhances the brain and nervous system functions, and contributes to positive emotional expression.

Jade
Description: Jade can refer to either nephrite (black, green, brown, yellow or white) or jadeite (green, yellow, white, pink, purple, orange, bluish, brown or gray). The emerald-green variety of jadeite is the most sought-after. Jade is the toughest naturally-ocurring mineral, withstanding enormous pressure and more elastic than steel. This toughness is why jade was so popularly used historically for stone axes, fish hooks, and other tools.
Use: Facilitates fertility, longevity, practicality, wisdom, tranquility, balance, moderation and stability. Helps us understand our dreams and teaches us to live in harmony with the laws of nature and spirit.
Jasper
Description: A mix of chalcedony, quartz, and opal. It comes in a variety of colors including red, yellow, and brown, or in patterned combinations of these.
Use: Enhances relaxation, contentment, compassion, nurturing, healing, serenity, gentle endings, and organizational abilities.
Kunzite
Description: A pink spodumene.
Use: Associated with gentleness, friendliness, self-discipline, emotional balance, inner love, maturity, security, calmness, openness and moderation. Helps us attract gentle friends.
Kyanite
Description: A tranluscent blue mineral with a slightly iridescent silver sheen.
Use: Augments channeling altered states, vivid dreams, clear visualizations, loyalty, honesty and serenity.
Use: Strengthens and protects our aura, and aids in communication with our highest self and the Creator. Labradorite strengthens our will and encourages wise use of mystic powers. Description: Lazurite makes up much of the deep blue in lapis lazuli, while pyrite sprinkle the face of the stone with a beautiful gold. Lapis has been valued for thousands of years, as evidenced by its mention in the Sumerian epic "Poem of Gilgamesh."

Larimar (Blue Pectolite)
Description: Aids one in the process of using power and knowledge wisely. Encourages one to "speak their truth." Enhances the process of bringing through and manifesting one's creative impulses. Assists overly-critical people in opening their heart and mind and adopting perdprvyibr of self and others. Clarifies one's perception of those things in life (within and without) that need to change. Facilitates meditation and inner journeys. Helps lighten depression/apathy. Calmness, serenity, purity. Lepidolite
Description: Lepidolite ranges in color including pink/purple, yellow, gray, colorless and white.
Use: Promotes cosmic awareness, transcendence, emotional balance, prayer, meditation and goodness. It is considered helpful for insomnia.
Use: Brings subconscious wisdom, loyalty, leadership, ability, comfort, balance, emotional maturity, sensitivity, inner clarity, positive transformation, peace, protection, and healing. Reflects the feelings of those who wear it, and draws out negativity.
Milky Quartz
Description: A whitish and opaque form of quartz.
Use: Gets us in touch with the hidden, invisible, and elusive within us and without. It helps us tap deep wisdom and mysteries that have been buried in both our culture and in our individual selves.
Moldavite
Description: A green translucent meteorite, moldavite is the product of a meteor collision with Earth nearly 15 million years ago when a meteor fell over what is now the Moldau River valley in Czechoslovakia. These green gems are among the rarest minerals on earth. They have been prized by humans for thousands of years and are still given as gifts from royalty to royalty. In legend, it is believed Moldavite was the green stone in the Holy Grail, and has the power to quicken one’s spiritual evolution.
Use: Even people not sensitive to the energies of stones often feel the energy of moldavite. Many sense it as heat, a tingling or pulsing sensation in their hand. Others feel a rush of energy through their body, usually upwards out the top of their head. Moldavite’s high vibrational energy is a powerful Chakra opener, particularly at the heart and above. Sleeping with moldavite activates the dream state. Wearing it helps manifest positive life change. It is good for channeling healing energy, and helps us communicate with our higher self and with extraterrestrials.
Moonstone
Description: A feldspar, moonstone can be white, peach, or gray. Spectrolite, a milky-white feldspar with a blue/green/gold tint, is often called "rainbow moonstone."
Use: Fosters happiness, good fortune, unselfishness, humanitarian love, safe travel on water, mothering, hope, new beginnings, abundance, and ancient wisdom. Protective of women and nature. Gets us in touch with our feelings.
Use: Obsidian is linked with inner growth, positive change, fulfillment, introspection, practicality, stability, manifestation and physic development. It exposes our rationalizations and self-illusions. Snowflake obsidian has similar properties to black, but less intense; a lighter approach to exploring one's inner depths. The black and white color communicates the balance and true oneness of polarities (male/female, spirit/matter, dark/light, positive/negative).
Onyx
Description: A black or brown and white banded agate. Sardonyx has reddish-brown and white bands.
Use: Increases vigor, stamina, constancy, tenacity, self-control, strength, happiness, contentment and virtue.
Opal
Description: The most valued color of opal is black, but it comes in white (milk opal), red (fire opal), and colorless (water opal). The play of color in opal is what makes it so appealing, caused by flecks of silica that reflect the light.
Use: Enhances love, passion, faithfulness, emotional expressiveness, warmth, spontaneity, peace, consciousness and dramatic ability.Because of opal's popularity in the early 21st century, diamond dealers launched a campaign to promote opal as a bad luck stone, but this was purely fabricated.
Pearl
Description: Pearls are animal-made, rather than geologically made. They are creatd by mollusks, usually oysters. When the shellfish has an irritating object in their shell, they coat the item with calcite or argonite, creating a small round hardened pearl.
Use: Pearls bring the bearer purity, innocence, integrity, concentration, focus, honesty, serenity and wisdom.
Peridot
Description: Also known as olivine or chrysolite, peridot is August's birthstone. It makes up much of the earth's mantle, and has even been found in meteorites and on the moon.
Use: Inspires renewal, rebirth, growth, stress reduction, health, recuperative abilities, comfort, relaxation and intuition. Helpful for healing the healers.
Phantom Crystals
Description: A quartz crystal that has the outline of another crystal within it.
Use: Promotes past life recall, inner growth and transcendence. Reminds us of the reality of life after death.
Pyrite
Description: A yellow metallic mineral, also known as "fool's gold."
Use: Augments intelligence, stability, logic, analysis, creativity, channeling abilities, memory, optimism, practicality, and will power. Allows us to discover our own unique talents.
Quantum Crystals
Description: Three or more double-terminated quartz crystals that are joined together.
Use: Quantum crystals alter the statistical probabilities of our wishes, prayers and visualizations coming true. They also allow us easier access to alternate realities.
Use: Quartz is a general healer and cleanser of energy. It can also amplify bodily energy and thoughts. Its natural tendency is for harmony, and it is recognized as a stone of power. Description: A manganese carbonate in various shades of pink and red. Transluscent crystals of rhodochrosite are rare, but in other forms it is usually a beautiful banded transparent pink and opaque white.
Use: Brings compassion, tolerance, kindness, emotional expressiveness, healing, harmony, amity, friendship, smooth energy flow, self-love and spiritual awareness.
Use: Rose quartz enhances all forms of love; platonic and romantic love, mother love, self-love, and divine love. It encourages tolerance and forgiveness, opens our hearts and teaches us be tender, peaceful and gentle. It emanates unconditional love and helps us attract love.
Ruby
Description: Ruby is the red form of the rare mineral corundum (every other color is sapphire), and is one of the most popular gemstones used in jewelry today. It is the next hardest mineral next to diamond, and a high-quality ruby is more valuable than a diamond of the same quality and size. Some display a star-like "asterism," known as star rubies.
Use: Rubies are associated with enthusiasm, integrity, healing, devotion, courage, happiness, passion, romance, generosity, emotional warmth, inspiration, prosperity, energy, inner power and leadership abilities.
Use: Rutilated quartz increases determination, self-reliance, will, steadfastness, self-control, joy, general healing and increases communication with Spirit Guardians. It intensifies the powers of quartz.
Sapphire
Description: The other form of corundum, sapphire ranges in color from blue to green and yellow. It is one of the most popular gemstones used in jewelry today, and the next hardest mineral after diamond. Some display a star-like "asterism," known as star sapphires.
Use: Dark Blue Sapphire: intuition, meditation, creative expression. Green: luck. Orange: friendliness, optimism, wisdom. Pink: love, loyalty. Star: centering, independence, psychic abilities. Yellow: intellect, learning, memory. White: spiritual development and self-appreciation.
Selenite
Description: A clear, colorless gypsum.
Use: Selenite inspires universal love, positive thoughts, truth, serenity, purification, integrity, spirituality, clarity of thought, purity of thought, meditation and universal consciousness.
Silver
Description: Silver is naturally a very soft metal, found usually combined with lead, zinc, and copper. It is usually alloyed to make it stronger, the best known of which is sterling, made up of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. A piece of jewelry stamped with the mark "925" refers to this type of silver.
Use: It augments grounding, mystic visions, mothering, hope, meditation, nurturance, spiritual and romantic love, and sensitivity. Silver is considered sacred to the Moon Goddess, who loves and protects women and nature.
Smokey Quartz
Description: A type of quartz, usually a transluscent dark grey or brown in color.
Use: Promotes stability, practicality, pride, joy, calmness, positive thoughts, fearlessness, and a realistic grounded spirituality. Helps turn our wishes, dreams, and desires into reality. Teaches us to tap subconscious wisdom and simplify our lives.
Spectrolite
Description: Specrolite is the name given to Finnish labradorite, a feldspar. It is usually milky-white with iridescent sheens of peacock blue, but it can also come in bright colors ranging from red and orange through blue and violet. Specrolite is commonly known in semi-precious jewelry as "rainbow moonstone."
Use: Specrolite brings forth each person's strengths and originality, aids in sleep, and helps us relate to others. It emits a powerful light energy and is said to be a gemstone of transformation and utilization of the subconscoius mind. It attracts strength and provided vitality, and also provides clarity to the inner self and enhances patience. Description: Dark purple, also known as luvulite.
Use: Sugulite is linked with conscious awareness, spiritual attachment, channeling ability and healing. It helps the idealist and the extremely kindhearted remain unhurt by the shocks of the world.
Tabular Crystals
Description: Clear quartz crystals with a flattened shape.
Use: This formation of crystals foster communication, integration, smooth energy flow, balance, understanding and dialogue with people. They also help us communicate with nature and with spirit beings.
Use: This mineral facilitates personal empowerment, integrity, clear thinking, will power, practicality, grounding, courage, grace, and the ability to see clearly without illusions. Description: A blend of hematite, red jasper and tiger’s eye.

Topaz
Description: Topaz comes in a wide variety of colors depending on the amount of flourine during it's formation. These can range from green to pink, blue to brown. Some topaz is heat-treated to enhance its color.
Use: Blue: helps bring meditation, psychic powers, spiritual growth, tranquility, and leadership ability. Clear: enhances communication with nature. Green: represents forgiveness and understanding. Golden: aids in generosity, happiness, one's sense of humor, abundance, and attracts love. Pink: represents honor and truth.
Tourmaline
Tourmaline comes in a wide range of colors from black to pink and green. Some versions such as watermelon tourmaline, has the greatest range of color within individual crystals, changing from pink to green within the crystal growth itself It has a number of interesting properties: it is pleochroic, meaning that it appears as different colors when viewed from different axes. If it is double terminated, it can be heated to positively and negatively charge the ends, making them attract dust particles.
Use: Tourmaline enhances objectivity, flexibility, compassion, happiness, serenity, balance, transformation, healing, channeling, and strength. Blue: peace. Green: prosperity. Pink: love. Black: protection. Multi-colored: living harmoniously with all people.
Tourmalinated Quartz
Description: Black tourmaline crystals that appear as long needle-like inclusions inside of clear quartz.
Use: Balances and unites the conscious with the subconscious, male with female, spirit with manner. It brings harmony to any polarity and encourages moderation and unity.
Turquoise
Description: Turquoise is a phosphate of copper and aluminum, the color ranging from bright blue (from the copper) to blue-green (from traces of iron).
Use: Turquoise inspires empathy, honest communication, love, serenity, balance, friendship, strength, general healing, positive thinking, meditation and emotional sensitivity. It connects us with all life.
Variscite
Description: Another aluminum phosphate, variscite is often confused with turquoise.
Use: Augments moral courage, virtue, self-reliance, success, and calmness. It helps us remember our past lives.
Zircon
Description: A colorless stone when pure, but often comes in yellow, brown and red shades.
